Is basically his best friend. At first Itsuki just liked messing with him because he was so drywall, but eventually they became closer and Minato started doing things like drywalling at Itsuki's BS, and reading him scarily accurately, which just had Itsuki more intrigued. And then Donna let the whole Haruhi thing slip and Itsuki was massively cranky, until Minato went yeah man I don't really care, you're still you and Itsuki was like ....oh. Okay. That's cool. SOCIAL LINK MAXED. Also somewhere in there Minato died and Itsuki went I DO NOT THINK SO, THAT SHIT DOES NOT FLY and got him back thanks to the Marquis, who he still owes a favor to. Basically Itsuki is incredibly comfortable around him; he puts on his whole mask persona thing and Minato knows it's totally fake and yet Itsuki somehow really doesn't mind that. Also they do retarded teenage boy things like dunk each other at the beach. And somewhere in there Itsuki kind of got a massive crush on him but shhhh, that's a secret.

♛ Lisa Cuddy
Lisa is his mommy. It started during the family virus, and then as Itsuki has no parents around and Lisa had no children, it sort of continued. Itsuki actually has a lot of respect for her, and gets passive-aggressively protective when people are dicks to her. She sees straight through his bullshit so often that it's frightening. MAN I COULD GO ON FOR A WHILE BUT TL;DR THEY'RE REALLY ATTACHED AND DO BONDING STUFF LIKE WATCH ZOMBIE MOVIES AND ITSUKI CRASHES AT HER HOUSE MOST WEEKENDS AND BUMS AROUND PPTH AND LETS HER COMFORT HIM WHEN HE'S MISERABLE AND IT'S ADORABLE.

♛ Shiro
Essentially his older brother, thank you family virus. Shiro generally brings out the trolly side of him, and together, they have Shenanigans. Itsuki has helped his drunken ass home a couple of times, which ends up exactly as silly as it sounds. He's also capable of doing that whole familial support thing, even when it comes to the girlfriend-that-shall-not-be-named, because blood is thicker than water. Even if it's fake blood. Or... something.

♜ Kaito
Itsuki knew Kaito for a while before figuring out the whole Kaitou Kid thing, and once he finally did, he danced with glee. That aside, he appreciates Kaito's presence in his life as someone who is generally optimistic and happy no matter what kind of weird crap he gets himself into. He's generally willing to go pretty far for him; he intervened with the Organization's mad connections last time Kaito got himself shot, then sat in the hospital playing New New Earth Monopoly with him. Helped out on his most recent heist and thought it was pretty much the coolest thing ever.

♜ Tieria Erde
Now that I'm thinking about it, one of the first people Itsuki latched onto as OH LOOK, SOMEONE INTERESTING. Tieria had him generally intrigued for quite a while-- he knew something was up, but couldn't figure out what, and Tieria wasn't spilling. Then they got in a gigantic fight over the fact that they're both kind of assholes, and then Tieria... went and died. Oops. BUT TURNS OUT HE REALLY DIDN'T and they had an awkward patching-up session that was basically 'yeah dude my bad' and life went on. Itsuki considers him someone that's very trustworthy; maybe he's not someone he would confide emotional issues in because Tieria is not quite that sort of person, but pretty much everything else is fair game. (Also Itsuki is spectacularly bad at knowing when Tieria is cranky enough that he shouldn't push his luck with the trolling.)

♝ Phoenix Wright
Naive, optimistic, and too straightforward for his own good, so is an excellent foil for whatever philosophic problem Itsuki is trying to work through this week. Itsuki respects how hard he seems to work, and while he doesn't think he's particularly clever, knows he's intelligent. Someday, they will play chess.

♝ The Doctor
First met him through Haruhi. Itsuki just plain really likes him; he's smart, good-natured, and leads an incredibly fascinating life. He's also generally willing to lend a hand whenever Itsuki pisses people off and needs a place to hide, and Itsuki could gladly wander the TARDIS for years. He's aware that there's something rather darker underneath, even though he had to have it pointed out by Donna, but doesn't really like the idea of trying to find it-- the few glimpses he's had are enough.

♝ {Donna Noble}
Calls him Spaceboy, which Itsuki, with his high opinion of the Doctor, tends to take as a compliment. Has all the subtlety of a runaway tank, and seems to care quite a bit about Itsuki's life and well-being, which has him alternating between amused, exasperated, and confused.

♝/♠ House
House bullies him, puts him down, and makes sarcastic comments at him. Itsuki is annoyingly calm, obnoxious, and occasionally sarcastic in return. ~~TOGETHER, THEY FIGHT CRIME~~ They're learning to live with each other, and Itsuki, for his part, finds House pretty damn fascinating. Also he kind of wants to be a diagnostician now.

♞ Naoto Shirogane
A detective, and trying to capture Kaito Kid. Serious and mature, so Itsuki is determined to get him to crack.

♞ Miles Edgeworth
Extremely intelligent, and a pleasure to discuss things with. ~~As I'm writing this I find myself falling into Itsuki's speech patterns fml~~ He's the sort of person that Itsuki will take devil's advocate with just to spark an interesting discussion. Has a dog named Sigi.

♞ Mikuru Asahina
A fellow club member. This is a strange one to classify, because he's definitely more loyal to anyone in the SOS brigade than anyone else, but at the same time, he doesn't necessarily trust her, so she gets a sort of... middling rank.

♞ Karen Minazuki
She gets a higher rank not necessarily because they know a lot about each other personally, but because they've both been around the community so long he's gotten very used to her. Think of it like coworkers that have random chats around the water cooler for years but never really get to know each other much better.

♞/♠ Azula
He definitely does not like Azula, but that doesn't mean he can't be curious about her. Seeing as he dislikes her personality rather than her actions, she falls into the category of 'someone to bother'. Is totally not competing with her for Cuddy's attention.

♟ Mitsuru Kirijo
He was given the smackdown for asking about the onsen incident, which gave him a healthy respect for her. Helped bring Minato back.

♟ Akihiko Sanada
Met him briefly through Minato, and worked with him to bring him back.

♟ Junpei Iori
Also a part of the Let's Resurrect Minato team!

♟ Setsuna F. Seiei
Haruhi's friend. A bit of a brick wall, but pleasant enough.

♟ Artemis Fowl
Gave Itsuki some very handy unhackable codes in exchange for caviar.

They had a lovely conversation about Tarot.

Technically just re-met her, but remembers being intrigued by the previous one!

A scientist. Generally cheerful and enthusiastic, they've only spoken a few times but Itsuki wouldn't mind getting to know her.

Always tends to answer Itsuki's games posts. Itsuki doesn't know much about him, but he seems generally pleasant.

♟ Lockon Stratos
Haruhi's friend. Somehow involved in all of Tieria's business. Seems like the big-brotherly type.

♣ Michael Trinity
Hates due to the assassins event, but is also very cautious about. Is one of the only people that he won't really actively seek out to annoy, like he maybe would for other people he doesn't much care for, because he knows Michael's dangerous and really would follow through on his threats to shank him.

♣ Nena Trinity
...Kind of a weird one to classify, not least because they won't really ever interact on-comm because lol playercest. Knew her at first because Shiro would bring her round, thought she was loud but didn't have much of a problem with her, pretty much hated her after the Assassins event for the whole killing-Donna-and-Minato thing. Keeps his mouth shut for Shiro's sake, but watches her like a hawk. The reason it's weird is because he hates her more for what she's done than for who she is; she's one of the few people he really doesn't even want to bother to get to know.

My mother wants me to start thinking about my college goals. I'm not sure at all, really... she thinks I should either quit the soccer club next year and focus on my studies, or go all-out for a sports scholarship. I think I'll try and convince her that I can balance both of them easily, as my grades haven't suffered so far.

In any case, I was thinking about possibly going into astronomy. She nearly had a heart attack when I bought that expensive telescope in middle school, I should eventually try and convince her that it was productive.

(( WHAT IF HE IS NOT AN ESPER. Since I just realized this incredibly obvious idea now, assume any of the commenting he's done around previously is pre-virus. Also he's going to be slightly less formal and opaque, just making sure people know that's on purpose xD ))

Although it's not quite right to call it a problem, is it? A while ago it would have simply been a frustrating issue to contend with, one that I resented. That's changed, now, which in a way, makes it more difficult.

There are very few people that I trust, and even fewer that I confide in. I'm well aware most of you would say that's not very healthy, but it's simply a fact of how I conduct myself with others. And I'm not entirely sure that I mind this.
